Vehicle Decontamination System

Captain Andrew Isaacs of the Winter Park Fire/Rescue Department prepares the interior of an ambulance prior to cleansing it with the built-in decontamination unit, coming in the wake of an international Ebola virus scare. The units are made up of pressurized pumps, which release a decontamination mist inside the patient area of the ambulance. It takes about 15 minutes for the mist to cover all the surface area inside – a process that can be done even while the ambulance is moving. This is one of three units on hand at the Winter Park, Florida station on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 in Winter Park, Florida. (AP Photo/Alex Menendez)
